The Healing Hunter Foundation has a core desire to positively impact as many children and families suffering from childhood cancer as possible. What began as one mother's desire to disrupt the normal routine of battling cancer has grown into a national outreach growing in scale with every new year.
This movement sprouted after Lenore and Todd Thawley lost their amazing li'l guy Hunter Zen Thawley to AML Leukemia on March 8, 2010. Since then it has grown into a team of volunteers, supporters, medical staff, and gracious sponsors. Countless time, effort, resources, funds and more have gone towards directly impacting families facing these terrible diseases. From completely transforming children cancer wards into holiday wonderlands with a magical atmosphere to gifting hundreds of Apple iPads to numerous children going through treatment. The Healing Hunter Foundation is constantly growing, partnering, and creating new ways to sweetly impact these children and their families in the most impactful ways possible.
